Bill Zahn is a veteran character artist, designer, and art director who has worked in the film and gaming industry for over 30 years, including Pixar Animation Studios and Industrial Light & Magic.
In 2024, he served as an art director for the record-breaking film Inside Out 2. Before his tenure at Pixar, he worked on high-profile live-action blockbusters for Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic, contributing to visual effects and model work for films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Men in Black, and the Star Wars prequels. Bill started his art and effects career in practical effects as a sculptor and painter, working on many feature films along with the famous Budweiser frog commercials.
Bill’s career as an independent artist and filmmaker has taken many of his creations in new and exciting directions, acquiring several awards for his work.

Guitar Thrills: You've recently been performing with the Zaar Cicero guitar—what drew you to that instrument in the first place?
Leilani: I have always secretly wanted a shredder guitar, and the Cicero is PERFECT for that. It is a Dodge Challenger on steroids, with a small enough body that you can fly around on that thing with zero inhibition. It's lightweight, well balanced, and the pickups offer an astounding range of tone. It makes me feel like the little metal monster I've always hoped I could be someday.
Guitar Thrills: How has the Zaar Cicero guitar influenced your tone and playing style compared to what you were using before?
Leilani: Speed, baby!!! That guitar just begs for fast riffs and devastating drop C chugs. I want my playing to be heavier, cleaner, and scarier than ever. You just can't get that kind of sound out of a Tele or Strat.
Guitar Thrills: Are there specific qualities of the Zaar Cicero guitar—like its feel, response, or pickup character—that have changed the way you approach riffs or solos?
Leilani: I feel like the guitar gets just as excited as I do the more aggressively my playing gets. It eggs me on, like it's saying "oh yeah? What else?". You could use the guitar for just about anything, the pickups and neck are that user-friendly, but I feel like it thrives on a gain channel and fast picking. The Cicero handles articulation wonderfully. And yet, it is just as happy to let chords ring out for as long as you'd like.

The full body front features the "Fantastic Story" artwork by Alex Gross. The artowrk is in full color, covering the entire front body face of the guitar. The Artist Series logo is printed on the back of the body, and each Limited Edtiion guitar is uniquely number from 1-10.
