Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit bass guitars too?
Yup! It also fits most acoustic and electric basses too!
-----------------
Does it sound like a real engine?
It revs! Just, of course, not as insanely loud.
-----------------
Is the shear volume and thunder of a real live muscle car or motorcycle engine there?
No, it's just a stand. :) But it does sound pretty cool!! It belts out about 80 decibels of engine revving volume!
-----------------
What engine sounds does it make?
Revving!
-----------------
Does the sound come out of the exhaust ends at the bottom?
No, our original design had it that way, but it was a nightmare to assemble out of the box, so for ease of assembly for our customers, all wires, sensors, and speakers are conatined in a single unit at the top, making assembly a breeze!
-----------------
When does it make a sound?
It revs when you place a guitar on the stand, and when you lift it off of the stand!
-----------------
What if I get tired of the sound and I just want it because it looks cool?
Take out those batteries and it won't make a peep!
-----------------
What kind of batteries does it take?
Just two AAA's! (Batteries not included)
-----------------
Is the stand made of metal?
Early designs and prototypes had all, and then parts of the stand, made of metal. But it made everything way more difficult. Cost of materials went way up, cost of shipping went way up, and we wanted to keep this stand affordable! The great news is, switching to all plastic, doesn't hurt the stand's looks or functionality at all!
-----------------
Does the exhaust throw smoke?
Nope! No actual exhaust! You'd pass emissions with this bad boy - no problemo! :)
-----------------
Why would I need an emmissions test on a guitar stand?
You don't!! It's just a guitar stand!!
-----------------
What type/size guitars will this stand fit?
Almost all guitar types and sizes will fit. Both electric, acoustic and some lessor know types will fit with no problem. If you have a really odd shaped guitar, you may run into issues, but we'll begin to list them here as we find that out! (If you find one that doesn't fit, send us a note!)
-----------------
How long does it take to assemble?
We'd say anywhere from 5-15 minutes, depending on your speed/pace. It's a pretty quick assembly, and all hardware and tools needed are included.
-----------------
Will my spouse like this in our house?
Good question! Some will, some won't. Roll the dice, my friend!! (Or get pre-approval... however it works in your home.)
-----------------
What vehicle's rev sounds did you use?
We like to keep you guessing! Any guesses?
-----------------
Does this come in all chrome, or all matte black?
Nope, just the combo, at least for now!
-----------------

It happens (from time to time)... If you don't like it, send it back for a refund!
