Although my wife has for many, many years played the guitar and has (for nearly as long) asked that I learn, I've never (before now) had any strong yearning to learn to play. That changed when this past Christmas my Brother-in-law was showing off his new guitar. Born from a relatively new company; ZAAR Guitars, The fit, the quality and the dazzling beauty of the guitar captivated me as none other ever has. A few weeks later we attended a small venue that featured a very talented guitarist. The urge grew. And though pretty much ambidextrous, I recognized the desire to play my dominate inclinations of being left-handed. To the ZAAR online venue I went and chose a sweet Solid Rosewood Acoustic, Left-Handed. I ordered and paid in advance lthis past February for this beautiful instrument. I am still waiting... In the meanwhile, via online conversations with Craig, (at ZAAR) I was taken to school on the merits of various woods, structural composition and differences in build. I was still considering all this (and still awaiting a ship date for my solid wood) when a ZAAR email notified me of a single remaining left handed Rosewood 420E. I scooped it up. Craig compensated me with complimentary shipping and a leather guitar strap. The guitar is incredibly gorgeous. My efforts to learn are suitably inspired!
